Alexandra Black Model

 

Alexandra Black was born in Banff, Alberta on February 1st 1990. She spent her childhood growing up in Canmore, Alberta with her parents and one younger brother. Those younger years growing up in the mountains provided her with a beautiful landscape to start exploring photography and the arts. 
 
In 2006 at the tender age of sixteen she moved on her own to Nanaimo, British Columbia. It was there that her love for photography and desire to model was born. She started her career as a photographers assistant, that opened up the door to the wide world of modelling and photography. In those first years, she learned all she could, worked as much as she could, took a job as a lab technician  in a photography store. Then out of no where she became very ill and had to return to Canmore. 

 

In 2008 Midnight Rose Photography was born and she took a few years way from modelling as she worked on her true passion. Since then she has been published as both a model and photographer, has been a part of four international photography shows. Her goal for 2015 is to take a step back into modelling, to create stunning, thought provoking, or out of the box ideas. She loves to learn new things, try new things and will go to great lengths to always create amazing work. Her knowledge of Banff National Park also offers a unique perspective on finding the perfect location for your vision.
